Best sunset spot of Siem Reap We really appreciating with our last trip in siem reap. We had booked this trip a day before through whatsapp sokpee was respond our inquiry quickly with confirmation our booking, on time 3:30pm someone came got us from hotel and take us through to village around 30 minutes from city, sokpee met us at the first point and recommend us started our water buffalo ride along field to the spot, we feeling awesome with this and they provided us a great cold water, after then they show us where we should do our own cycling around village before seeing view of sunset with picnic beer and food. All food was great to have cold beer and great view of rice field and sunset! We really make recommend this if you like to see sunset with local experiences.

A side of Siem Reap you have to see! Not only can they show you the Angkor Wat and different temples, they can also show you Cambodia's country side! Do WhatsApp the owner for more information! There's so much to Siem Reap! Booking the activity at Sunset Spot allows you to see a side of Siem Reap that's something else other than the Angkor Wat, Pub Street, Night Market.... No doubt, you will see rural Cambodia, with its padi fields, water buffaloes, and vast amount of land. Sokpee (the guide and owner) provides you with bicycles, allowing you to cycle around the country side. It's a good chance for very nice countryside photos. The food that comes along with the package is also very delicious(: Moreover, Sokpee was also my guide the very next day, bringing me around the Angkor Archaeological Park (paid extra for this). He's very well versed on Khmer History, he went to the university to study more about Khmer history! His english is good and he can tell you a lot about Cambodia and Siem Reap. Do take this opportunity to interact with him!

Amazing introduction to the countryside What an amazing tour! Made a reservation via email after finding this gem on tripadvisor. We were picked up by the tuk tuk driver and had a wonderful 45-minute countryside drive. Arriving at the property we were greeted by the very friendly tour owner Mr Sokpee, who arranged 2 bicycles for us tour around the small village. Children and teenagers alike were greeting us everywhere and we saw some duck farms and a lotus farm. After the bike ride the water buffalo cart with 2 adult buffalo's and 1 very cute baby water buffalo was waiting for us which then rode us around the village again. SO peaceful! When we arrived at the tour property again we had a beer and some cold towels, and were then presented with some lovely food while we enjoyed the sunset and life around the village. Mr Sokpee also saves a big part of the tour income for future development of the village, but he will tell you all about it when you get there. For 15$, this is a no-brainer! You will not regret it!

Off the beaten track We booked the sunset tour with Sokpee and went for it with our 3-year old son. The tuktuk ride was approximately 30-40 min from the old city to the village. Half the ride was on good road and half was on dirt road. The water buffalo ride was definitely the highlight of the tour for us. We saw cows, buffalos, chickens, ducks and dogs at the village. It was quite an experience for us city people. We rode the bicycles around the village. If you are bringing young children, you may want to think of how to do the bicycle tour with them as there are no child seats. We used the baby carrier. We watched the sunset from a humbly erected shed and considering it was situated in a village, the sanitory/toilet conditions were simple but good enough. The tour comes with complimentary snacks and a beer for each person. Sokpee is friendly and speaks good english. Definitely recommend it for those who want to go off the beaten track.
